Locode (GPS Navigation)
This is a demonstration of the website www.locode.com. This website is useful in identifying exact locations in the United States and sending them to other users. Locodes will soon be available on hand held GPS units, gps enabled mobile phones, and mobile phones with internet access such as the Iphone. Locode will aid micro-navigation and give people the ability to accurately mark any location. The resolution of unique locodes is 10 feet square, close enough to find any location.

I have a nice GPS (EM-406A) + LCD (standard 16x2) + MCU (ATMEGA32L) setup to make a "portable GPS device"

Apache Bluetooth GPS problems...
I try to explain my problems with my HTC Apache aka PPC-6700 PocketPC and a bluetooth GPS receiver. Note that this is the way it works regardless of GPS receiver, GPS-enabled application, or using straight Windows Mobile GPS to virtual COM Port or the GPSGate utility.
